Arrrgh, Peter, I KNEW I forgot to post something!!
I never ordered them, cause I happened to see a bike down at Turner Bend with one on it a couple of weeks ago. Asked the guy about it, and he said while it did seem to make things a little better, it didn't seem to help much. I could see why after seeing it "up close and personal:" too thin. I sat on it, and though that's not the same as a good long ride, it didn't seem to change the feel much at all. Too bad, hoped I was onto something. I know one solution that would work, and that's the "Airhawk" pad. Only problem is, they want waaaaay too much money for it; from $150.00 to $200.00 (USD), depending on who's selling it. I rode a Vulcan a couple of hundred miles with one of those on, and it was very comfortable. Sigh. Maybe I'll win the lottery, then I'll buy one!
Cheers!
